It took my $$ just fine!!  Now all I need to do is get out and fish one of these days.

I'll say it again, Joel should have to pay $20 to enter each category.  That guy lives in his kayak.

Can you have a counter that lists the pool size?  It'd be pretty sweet to see the pot sweeten as more people join.

I'll enter everything except the stripers, some people caught 100x as many linesides as I did last year, so I'll pass on that one...  They are good smoked though, too bad they're among the most polluted or I'd be more gung-ho about them.

You should also include something about caught by angling to exclude spearfishing.   I'd love a 3 month headstart, but I'm going to give you guys a big enough run for the bottomfish as it is...

Might also want to add a rule that the outings should be advertized in the 'hookups' section to qualify. It might be controversial if a lurker suddenly posted a pic of a huge fish on some grass by a kayak without warning...  It'd also help provide witnesses and safety for all involved.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.

I believe Lake Mendo and the Forebay stripers are clean......

Keith Fraser actually noted during the seminar that the Bay Stripers are healthy to eat. The warning was directed towards the "Immigrants" (Asian Community) that tend to eat the heads, fins and intestines - which have the mercury in them.

I will post the current pot count to the tournament forum under each species. I will get the current counts up tonight. We have about 5 people entered right now although not everyone entered every species.

I am thinking about putting a entry deadline in place, what do you guys think about that?

Ok guys I added a little scroller across the top. I will keep that updated but won't update the forum post. Once we get fish entered into the pool I will put the current biggest fish on the scroll.

This SoCal was all set to sign up, then I noticed you think CenCal starts at Lopez Pt. Fine, you don't want lower Big Sur, SoCal will take it. I'm going to post No Trespassing signs and set up a Border Checkpoint on Hwy 1 at Lucia. Good, it will be easier to get a campsite without you.

What are you afraid of, that SoCal yakkers will come up for a weekend and steal your money? Change the line to Piedras Pintadas or or even more appropriately San Simeon and I'll put my money where my mouth is.
