Rockfish opener at MBK 5/1

I'll be launching in front of Monterey Bay Kayaks in Monterey at around 7am on Thursday May 1st for the rockfish opener.I'll be paddling my blue Trident.Company welcome and I'll be on channel 69.

I guess Marmite and I will see you on the water since we are launching before day break. It would be good to fish with again.

Hey Aaron, Good to hear from you. I took Thursday through the weekend off and planning to launch Thursday around the same time as you. If I don't see you on the beach I'll be monitoring channel 69. Really looking forward to this day

Looks fishable especially in the morning.NW 5-15 kt predicted so far with weather improving over the weekend.MBK is pretty protected and an early start is a good call.In fact, I may try to get a slightly earlier start.
