Hello everyone.  I am a newbie here and caught my first ever fish on a kayak!  After an awkward start I managed to land two nice bass near the tulies at the state park on our family camping trip on thursday. The kids caught bass in the cover from shore using minnows. I will try to post pics if I can figure out how.

Welcome PaulR. Any "first" fish is a good fish.

And don't worry. Most of us started out awkward, it comes with the territory. It's the ones who've been doing this awhile and are still awkward that you need to worry about.  :smt002

Paul -

WTG on your first kayak fish!!!  :smt003 Hate to say it but it becomes an addiction for some.  :smt003 Check out Bill's tutorial on how to post pictures... http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,9779.0.html. Also, may want to check out Seabreeze's article on WAF.  :smt044
