It was our first time kayaking and diving at Elk, I had read about the trail to the beach but did not get the roll cart set up so we carried the kayaks down and up, what a workout! My son and I dove at one of the points and got some nice abs, but we did not find the fish. We saw some other guys with some r-fish and a ling. What a beautiful place.

Looks like you hit the weather just right!  But man, that is truly monumental that you two handcarried a pair of yaks up Cardiac Hill.  I'm so impressed!

That looks like a beautiful day at Elk. I can't wait for the Elk Tourny.

At Elk 1 I carried my kayak down with out a cart. Never to be done again as I'm not in shape anymore!

Cool report, JohnK.  Great old-growth shot with the young man.  Good Times right there.   :smt001
