I use the mini rolleez with sand tires for my x factor, which is a fairly big boat. I've found that it works OK if you locate it near the middle of the boat, and to do that you need longer straps than the ones that come with it. I put the two straps that came with the mini together to form one longer strap and use a strap from my roof rack for the other one. If the mini is not located near the middle of the boat, the wheels take less of the weight and your arm consequently takes more, and the straps have a greater tendency to slip because the boat tapers more the further you get from the middle. I've never tried the full size rolleez cart, but I imagine it might be easier to use. I do like that the mini packs so easily into my front cargo hatch, though.

My buddy Joe just modified a running stroller - you know the kind with three wheels you put a small child in so you can/jog.

He eliminated the single front wheel, re-bent the handles and the aluminum shield that kept the kids legs out of the spokes of the front wheel and made a pair of nice "V" cradles for the kayak hull to nest in. We threw his OK Frenzy on it - it ROCKS!  :smt007

The wheels detach with a one handed clip and it folds down flat. I think he got the frame at a garage sale for next to nothing. _ I guess I will be searching garage sales now, too!
