I decided since I now had a family of 4 I might as well get a family kayak that could still be a 2 person fishing kayak. I ended up going with the OK Zest. So far it looks great, I have to rig some flush mounts and the FF so I can't say how good it is going to fish. I got the rudder as well to help with those windy days.

I am stoked!

Nice looking piece of plastic Bill. :smt007   Where did you end up getting it?  Your post got me thinking, where do you mount the FF screen, forward or rear?  Or do you go with two screens?

I got it at Outback Adventures in San Jose. I got it really fast like 2 days after I ordered it.

There are spaces for flush mounts behind the front and back seats. Still trying to find a spot for the FF for the back seat, where I will be sitting  :smt002

Nice ride, Bill!  That looks like a crabbing machine and all-around fun family boat.   :smt001

Great kayak Bill! IMO: the best tandem in the market - very easy to paddle and lot's of leg room. Gimme a call if you ever want to test it out....I'll sit in the back  :smt002

Not to mention they haul ass!  That could be a two man trolling machine...if salmon were open  :smt010 :smt010 :smt010.  Nice score, wouldn't mind one of those myself.

Sweet boat Bill-

I was looking at the Zest when I was in the market for a tandem but, I couldn't pass up the deal I got on the Cabo. Pretty similar to the Zest... and for a tandem, they're pretty quick.
