Does anyone have a good lead for online speargun parts?  I need a new muzzle for my old Sea Hornet, which I think is the same as AB Biller - not sure on that one.

Also, if John GuineaPig is in the audience:  I liked your advice on the sporasub viper and am gonna get one.  I was thinking the 100 cm, but you suggested the 75 cm.  Any thoughts on that?

I may have an extra biller muzzle - send me a pic to verify it's the same cross section style.   :smt001

As for the Sporasub, I won't butt into that conversation, but would recommend that if you buy one... get it from somewhere that you can easily take/send back for repairs.   :smt002

In my opinion, if you are hunting northern California a 75 cm is a great all around gun. The sporasub viper, if you can find one, has an integrated rail system so it shoots true. The 100 cm would be great for so cal and clear water days but there are few fish in nor cal that would require a 100 cm gun such as a calico. Even those we take with 75 cm guns because you can dive straight down on top of them and cruise silently to get close to them. I think most guys shoot a 75 cm gun in local waters here just because you can use it to hunt in holes with a flashlight in one hand and also use it to get suspended fish. A 75 cm with 2 9/16 th bands and a riffe shaft is a good setup. With good technique a 75 cm gun will be a great gun.

good luck getting the gun! i have seen them online recently.

Fuzz, Thanks for the muzzle offer.  I'll send a pic tonite.  I get the feeling that you don't think the sporasub is very reliable?

John, thanks too for the advice.  Do you think the site you posted a link to for that gun (in the thread on the JBL) is a good place to buy it?

Hey Fuzz, I don't know how to post a pic in a PM, so here it is.  I also need some rubber for those little plug things.
Have an idea where to get some of that?

Oooh, haven't seen one of those in a while.  The only parts I have are for the wooden Billers.

What's wrong with the current muzzle?  The plugs are easy, got several of those.
