Just moved to Alameda from Santa Cruz and really want to get my first sturgeon from a kayak.  If anyone is down to fish Sundays, since that's my fishing day or weekdays after work, let me know.  It sucks but I've been grounded to the shore since all my fishing buddies are too cheap to get a kayak.  I fish at least once per week.  I've been wanting to get out there but feel a little iffy about the bay's strong currents etc and don't want to go it alone.
Good luck and tight lines.

Good luck and tight lines.

There's much less room on the shore than on the open water, and one PFIC "hotspot" report can quickly lead to a spot being overcrowded and trashed. This has happened to me and many others. Folks get protective, especially about Sturgeon. If you look thru the recent PFIC archives you won't find any Sturgeon reports that name a spot.

Luckily there's far few yakkers than pierfishers, and much more room for everyone to play nice in!
