I took this pic with a film camera and just now got it developed.  It was taken sometime in 2007 at Moss - you can see the hump of the whale just forward of the yak. In original, it looks like a white-gray yak with rudder, yakker has white tennis hat, red vest and blue wetsuit and he's taking a photo himself.  If it's you, I'll send it to you - p.m. me.

I think it's me, but I don't recognize the hat.  I have a few pics I'll try to post.

I don't recognize the fisherman, but I recognize the whale from it's crooked dorsal.  If its the same whale we fished with him all afternoon one day.  Cool pic!  I hope you find the fisherman, as I would imagine he will be very stoked to have a copy of that.

the boat's definitely an adventure.  The wetsuit looks like mine but I paddle with a yellow and blue vest and my net's not that big.

Kevin, are you pulling my leg?  The hat looks like the same one you're wearing in your avatar!
I did a search of Moss whales and got into a set of much better photos of the whale -breeching, etc.  Those things were just outside the jaws for a couple of weeks in '07. More whales than salmon!

Exactly what I was going to say.  Maybe it's like my reading glasses.....I can't find them cause I'm wearing them!

I was racking my brain about where I would have got a white hat...  The hat I wear is tan; much darker than pictured...  Here are some other pics from that day.

They guy in the yellow yak is Eric (GTO).

yeah, that is kevin, I recognize the sunflower seeds he was eating while paddling around,  :smt002.

I was out there that day too, I think it's the day that frank caught one. a whale that is.

I got a shaker salmon which unless things change for the better will have to go down as my only landed salmon on the yak.
