Hit CL with bassmaster Terry.  The good thing about launching near a bar is that you land near a bar.  Whats better than catching a shit-pile of bass????  Having an ice cold micro-brew and burger at the take out.  10 out of 10 Terry...thanks you!!!!  Super fun MLPA-free day!!!!

Terry landing bass #1, 500, 231

All of the fish were fat and happy...

Another fatty...

A fishies were released!

I went back to c-lake basics and fished a carolina rigged oxblood worm. I may have worked it faster than I should have for this VERY soft bite and took no victims.
Saw a PBer who knew where to fish and was working a ripbait for nothing. We held our ground at THE point until they could watch no more and bailed.
Alot of fish were lost on the attempted hook set ,even after aggressive take downs, and the minners were coming back battered.
We found fish on a rock mound, way off the point, and a few larger fish in close.
All of them were healthy and ready to bring it.
The nesting grounds are now flooded and look ready for the ladies to show. very exciting.
Thanks Sean, maybe next time we will make it past the first point.

What??  That can't be the same lake we fished last weekend! What is up with the t-shirt and sunglasses? We fished in freezing pouring rain all day!   The fish look familiar though.
Great pictures, fish, weather, and lunch served lakeside makes for a fine day on the water. Sean is on the board  and bumped me out of the top ten..............game on!  (insert smiley face here).

I definitely have to make it to clear lake this year.  Never fished it.  My older brother in North Carolina was surprised to find out that 2 of the top ten bass fisheries in the country are in my back yard: Clear Lake and Delta.

Terry, I have to get out there sometime.  I want to ask when is a good time, but it looks like all the time.  Awesome pics!

Looks like you guys hit it on the right day. One thing I love about this site, seeing some NCKA brothers (or sisters) hit it right -the stoke spins out across the web & brightens the days of all who see the report. WTG guys, you deserved some good fishing in the sun.
