Everybody dies, not everybody lives. What did you do today?

I haven't tried them. From the looks of things it would seem it is a step above a pair of waders.

Mike they haven't had them for awhile
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Just my 2 cents

Maybe it's because I've been diving way longer than kayaking, but I'm most comfortable (at least psychologically) when I wear a 1/4" farmerjohn in cold water, it's one that I put a relief zipper in.  The idea of rolling out of a yak in that setup would concern me.  Looks like they're designed to keep water from filling in from the top so I guess that'd be OK as long as it's foolproof.  But if they do get a significant amount of water in them, how the heck do you get back in the boat.  I think of my farmerjohn as more reliable protection, I might get a little water in, but the fit won't let much in and if I need to spend a period of time in the water I'm ok with that. Also, a dunking with a wet suit on won't ruin my day like it might if I got allot of cold water in that suit.

But they do look comfortable and easy to get in and out of.
