If the predictions of the weather are accurate, which most of the time there are not, on Sunday morning (no rain supposedly), I will be heading to Marina State Beach to do some Perch Grubbin' if there is a window of opportunity.... :smt043 :smt043 :smt043

Best Quote of 2008, so far! I like it.
Myself, I'm in a rebuilding year. Last season, I traded a lot of fishing time for a talented, young baby. So I am still rebuilding my WAf stockpile. Hopefully my WAF farm system will be loaded by the time that talented, young prospect has developed into an All Star for Team Kool.

Mosca, call me if you go fishing on Sunday. I might join you. I actually had a crazy idea last night. Yak down the Salinas River from the HWY to the beach. We could fish for salmon/steelhead as we paddle downriver...then fish the beach for perch! It seems like it would be easier than the "long-walk" to the beach.

Pig hunting.
ARCHERY ONLY.

I love hunting in the rain....the pigs are more apt to be out....visibiliy is limited so the ranges are short....hunting is utterly soundless, what with covering sounds....I love wind & water blowing....I like doing long pauses, standing under a tree just  listening and watching.

Up near Cloverdale.

Man the hogs should be out in force this weekend rutting in the mud I wish I still had a peice of private to hunt them. Nothing like getting out in the down pour when they cant smell or hear you. This would be a prime weekend to stick an arrow through a pig, but I might just wish. I could hunt and hope that there is a break in the weather to fish the bay. Where are you hunting Judd?

Private un-posted land along the west access of Geysers Road.
Hunted there many times before.
