Apple Computers Suck!!!

I can't believe I have been working so much that I missed this Apple bashing thread. I must say that I love their iPods, but that's about all I know.

After talking on the phone with Sean it looks like he does have a defective piece of equipment. Sadly Apple is not taking care of him.

Total BS.  I felt your pain, Sean, XMas morning when my son's Dell laptop had keyboard problems right out of the box.  I was pissed I had to spend time and energy getting it right.  The only difference is that Dell support was AWESOME.  Started email chat, then asked them to call...BOOM, they're on the phone from INDIA.  They sent a new keyboard that arrived within a couple of days and the install was a snap.  Problem solved.

Then again, if these are the biggest problems we face, life ain't too bad!

Sorry you had such a hassle.  I speak as another dedicated apple guy, all Ive ever used and will likely continue.  Bill's iMovie advice sounds good but looks like he changed his opinion.  Sucks to get a lemon and I too hate crappy customer service.  Gets me boiling.

I just got my daughter a macbook pro.. specifically so she could edit movies and store/burn dvds.

We've had some problems with both imovie and dvd burner.  The apple forums helped me to an extent, like "you just can't use that particular format choice"  I felt bad for Ema cause that format was the coolest.

My hidden agenda is to have her do the editing for any fish moies I might make.  haha

BTW old newbie i cant wait to read Tim Dorsey's  books, you got me stoked, I've been looking for a new writer.

Nice video!  Over the years I've shot a couple computers that pissed me off, but it never occured to me to utilize rapid oxidation (i.e., FIRE!).  Note to self...

Yes it was fake and stupid...but I LOVED it!  Thanks Tote.  Took the demon seed to FedEx today, and dowloaded Vegas.  Hopefully it works out.
