sturgeon seminar 1/26

i decide to sign up for keith fraser's sturgeon seminar at marin rod &gun club. i really need help with my sturgeon skills. i've heard that he is the man when it comes to sturgeon fishing. i've also heard that his seminar is really good. in addition to catching sturgeon, he demonstrates how to clean and cook the fish. tickets are 5 bucks. anyone ever been to this seminar? any opinons?

Been there... good info for newbies and the old man is always entertaining.  Good way to spend an evening and $5.

 Lot of fun...

 Keep a eye on him though....  Last year Scallen and I kept him from going to the trauma Center

 when he passed out while speaking on stage. 

 Would have been a 5' header if not for NCKA on the spot........

 He had been under the weather before the show and had just exhausted himself....

 Those stories he tells do take a lot of energy

Yeah, the seminar is a classic not to be missed.  Last year when I saw Keith starting to faint, I was up and at it before he got halfway down.  I can be pretty fast when a crisis occurs.

Much to my surprise, Danglin was actually there before me.  That guy is GOOD!

I'm sure we (mostly Don) saved Keith from a bad bonk on the floor.

 We definitely save the old man from a long absence from the Bait Shop.

 He called and thanked me later,  said he take me out fishing with Him and Stenstra!!!


 when I went to his shop, He gave me a extra Ghost Shrimp

Well, after many inches of snow and realizing that I won't be able to get out on the yak this weekend, I would like to know "Where" and "Who" to contact for this seminar? Up here in Cobb Mtn. we have had about 12 inches of snow, and they say we will be getting the worst part this weekend. I'm starting to think I'm up in the Canada, or Alaska Thinking about getting out somewhere. Being the Sportsman Expo is over and all, might as well find other things to do.

I guess the best question is: Where is it and how do I get there from the Santa Rosa area? I really "HATE  " gong to the city, but for some good information, I will bite the Bullet 

Anyone know if FW in the south bay will be holding a sturgeon seminar one of these Thursday evenings?  Marin is a bit far for me.

101s take last marin exit before the richmond bridge. turn left then turn left again into marin rog and gun club parkinglot.

its a good way to spend a rainy saturday night.

Just to clarify directions, take 101 South, in San Rafael take the 580 exit, towards Richmond, then take the last exit, 'San Quentin'. Take a left at the stop sign, going under the freeway. Can't miss it from there.
