...of your pimped out body boards - converted into ab/spear fishing vessels :smt002 I have a Morey / Nova 40" here at Aquan that I can get for cheap but I'm wondering what others are using for dive platforms (other than a kayak).

Mooch,
40" is too small for you. I am 155 lbs and I use a 45" boogie board. Even that sometime I wish it was bigger when I have a heavy load of abs and fish on it. I use 16-18 lbs of weight, plus my weight, plus 30 lbs of fish and ab, that is just over 200 lbs. My 45" board will be very low in the water with that load.
I think 45" is the largest size that one can get. Consider buying two boards and bolt them together. Or buy one of those very expensive and thick surf rescue board.

Most guys I know don't expect the board to keep them out of the water.  They use it because it allows them to glide over the kelp easily.  You just push or pull it back to shore when it's full of abs and fish.

A used one from a garage sale for $10 is plenty good.
