I've been there once or twice from shore w/ no luck... but yak-fish might be good!?

I'm in. I'm not very good at combat, but I have medical insurance and a cellphone.

Should I point out it's the day after Valentines Day, or should I assume you've all got that covered?

Great idea Pat!  You think she will be pissed if I give her a lure instead of jewelery?

SWEEET!...is it liteBROWN? or DARKchocolateMalt?    They drain and fill as they please during the rainy seasons...If "they" allow it to get ANYWHERE near FULL like in the GoodOl'Daze?  (seeOl'pics) It is a way-more scenic lake! like when the shoreline vegetation is actually NEAR or TOUCHING the WATER.... can you remember what that looks like? :smt012
I will try to get down to the waters edge for a pic to post up before Combat Day! :smt002

I'm starting to read postings about EBMUD planning to start boat inspections on their reservoirs (San Pablo, Lafayette, Chabot, maybe Pardee?) to stop zebra mussel, starting Feb 1. I won't repeat any of the rumors I've read since I haven't called EBMUD myself yet, and haven't seen an official posting from their website with details of these inspections. I am assuming these inspections will apply to kayaks; if so it could be a long wait in line to get in the water.

Yes,   I was sent a flyer in the mail, stating that all EBMUD waters are being studied right now for the Zebra Mussel Invasion. Durring this period all boaters and yakers are to clean there vessels and mics, and yaddayaddayadda.
Like Mike says,"there was mention of NOT to FRIENDLY things in the future if the problem is bad and not controlable. I'm sure there is some info online if some has the skillz to do dat.
IT AINT'T GOOD :smt012

I had a year long Launch Permit @ Laffayette last year and they must have had my address.
