Just called Chuck to personally congratulate him - apparently he's been (and still is) in Vegas for the last 4 days and has not been checking out the standings. I shoulda told him, that I caught a hail mary salmon , Halibut and a sturgeon over that last 4 days and took his first place spot   

Congrats to everyone this year! What an amazing race! ChuckE put in the time and got a well deserved win. Freddie I think your new nickname is going to be "2place"  I think you need to pull a Tonya Harding on ChuckE! Shimmi with a solid representation from the Mendo crew.

I will see if I can get the details squared away for the awards ceremony this week.

I'm pretty excited to be in the top 10 given that I probably fished fewer times in the whole year than Danglin or FisHunter did just this past month.

Oh, and having the lowest scoring AOTY fish (73.75 pts) is also quite an honor.

We should have the 2008 AOTY website set up soon.  If you find any new problems/bugs let me know.

Congrats indeed!  Thats a solid lineup.  I tried, but couldn't convert in the 4th quarter...it ain't easy folks!!!!  Looking forward to a crazy 08.

Congrats ChuckE!  You really had a banner year... one that'll be difficult to top for sure.  Congrats also to the others placing in the top 10. 

Despite my last minute effort for a steelie, I could not convert and pop back into the top 10... a solid list for sure.

 That's probably no Joke, I was really timing every bit of spare time, gathering as much Intel as possible,

 even planning days were I would hit 2 different places for 2 different species,

 Had I not Got Sacked by overwhelming family responsibilities last moment..........
