Found these Shimano fishing gloves online and wouldn't mind trying 'em on. They have slits in the index and thumb w/ velcro on the other side to keep it open when fishing or tying knots. 3mm so think enough for warmth and has a velcro strap on the wrist to keep the water out. And @ $15 pretty hard to pass up.

You'd think they could have taken a better picture though huh? :smt081

Hey Z.........talk about the nuts-and-bolts of drysuit ownership.

I've always used neoprene.

Whitewater buddies, some of them have drysuits.

Yu'know those thin rubber "gussets" at the wrists & ankles...???....one guy I know has had trouble with his ozone-cracking, and he said the way they were put in, he could only do a "glue-over" kind of repair.   Unhappy.

HUGE advantage is that at the put-in and take-out, you don't have to get naked at the side of the road with cold rain lashing into your tender skin.

How long you had yours?
Did you have neoprene first----and convert...???....or did you start with a drysuit.
You sound like you absolutely swear by them.
I'm part-way sold....well, at least I'm really interested.
Talk to me.

Judd
