Nice vid Sean! How long is the round trip taking you?

I'd been thinking about draggin' out the ol' MB and hitting the trail this fall. That might just be enough to get me to do it. You start on the South end or out of Pomo?

This trail leaves out of Bushay.  I have been going out and back for a 2-3 hour ride....whatever my time/body will allow.  It is an oustanding trail.  The guys over at www.mendotrails.org have done an incredible job.

That is totally sweet!  I want to bring my kids down to ride on that trail - is it a good one for the little guys?

Parts of it would be kid friendly, other areas have BIG drop-offs on the downhill side.  It kind of depeds on the skill level of the kids.  You can however, skip most of the risky parts on a parallel fireroad.

Loved the video Scwa, good fun. A carnage shot or two would boost the OOHHhhhh factor.

Knee/elbow carnage presumably!  Or you could sport a long bow and take out a wild boar or something while you're riding!   :smt003

Indeed.  This trail is really a gas.  I highly recommend bringing a bike if your going to do a weekend at Mendo.
