 man I hate Bakersfield.

Update. Truck was recovered! 2 occupants were detained and due to their illegal immigration status, were released with no charges... son's computer setup with all his stuff sold on market place by POS Marz Barz in Bakersfield. Police called, did nothing... sold for $350.00 before we could do anything.,.. Police, nothing... to sum it up, crime does pay, no consequences for Illegal's. Thieves suck!!!

An illegal dude ran into us as we were traveling at high speed on 101. Fortunately, nobody was hurt, but the damage to our Tesla was on the order of a couple thousand dollars. Of course, the guy had no insurance, and absolutely nothing will happen to him.

Truck was undamaged. camper shell gone but keys and all were intact. No help... we helped him get tools and back to work. $4000 just to get to where he could get back on the job.
