Now on its 4th owner with plenty of fishy adventures still ahead of it. It went to a fine young man from the north bay who showed up at my place with his dad and a wad of what I’m guessing was his own hard earned money. It was pretty cool to see such a young guy making such a big purchase and opening the doors to some epic adventures. I think he got a pretty sweet deal, though there’s some drive maintenance I recommended he complete before doing any salt water in or bay fishing. If you are on the boards, enjoy your new ride and let me know if there are any issues, questions, etc…happy to be a resource since the Hobie thing is all brand new to you! Good luck out there, welcome to the madness, and thank you!

“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”

For sure - If I wasn't saving for a kitchen remodel, I'd jump on this one.

See-bree, how did you attach the PVC crossbars to your hull for the outriggers? Nice looking setup!

I just heated and shaped ABS pipes so that they plugged into the stock rear rod holders. Same way I set up my DIY outrigger when I had the Outback. If helpful, I can post a bunch of photos and describe the build process.

Got it, that makes sense, thank you!
