Action camera recommendations

Can anyone recommend their favorite waterproof action camera? I want to film some of my adventures on the kayak. I already do that with a GoPro, but it’s an older model and I want to upgrade. The Insta 360 X5 is on the top of my list but so is a DJI or the newest GoPro. Technically I’d be sharing videos with people, but I’m not trying to cater to anyone except for myself. I am not very tech savvy so operating the camera, settings and editing, etc. should come easy-to-use hopefully.

I have been using DJI Osmo Action 4 camera and happy with it.  Purchased a second one recently.
I know there are later model Action 5 and 6 but for my purposes Action 4 is more than adequate.
