Cancel this plan. Weather forecast worsened too much.

==============================

Anyone want to join me?

The swell is supposed to steadily decrease thoughout the day, so no need to get out super early. Even though initially it might be 6-7', there's no cross-swell forecast and it's a long 12-second period and low wind, so should be nice out there.

High tide is 9:42am so launch into the river near the west parking area about then. May have to land on the beach in the afternoon and haul over the sand back to the parking lot if the outgoing tide is too strong to get back upriver.

Planning to catch sand dabs out by the buoy and then fish either north or south from there, not sure. I usually go north.

PM if you're interested and we can firm things up. I'll be driving down from Fort Bragg.

Cheers,

James

When we were there a few years ago the lings, and large rock fish were in the area of the dabs, and sole around 120-150’. We were surprised they were over the sandy area but guessed they must be after the dabs.
