I've come to a quick conclusion, I need a new kayak and it's going to be a Stealth Fisha 500. The vendor is placing an order this week so I needed to decide quickly if I was going to get a specific boat. Now I need to tell him what accessories I want/need. What Stealth specific accessories would you recommend? I am going with the outdoor cover, maybe a butt pad, what else? Does the cooler bag take up the whole storage space? Is it worth it? What is the flush mounted fishfinder cover? If I can get it locally, or from the internet, I am not worried. But if it needs to come from Stealth on this order, I need to decide in the next day or two. Stealth owners, what do you have and recommend? Or wish you bought?

Kinda stokin' me!  Welcome to the tribe they say.  :smt006. I'm not sure it needs much right out of the box.  I'm home quick enough to not need the fish bag but it would keep the hatch a lil' cleaner but it rinses easy.   I do have a back support but I'm not sure it's still available. I like the butt pad.   I just mounted my FF straight to the hatch door and I've moved it and feel better about it's position.  You gotta pick a paddle!  Main tool for sure.  I use a Werner Cyprus.  I'll prolly think of more stuff as this thread develops. :smt007

Found a pic fish of the back support.  It's just a little something to brace against when paddling or resting. It's a piece of stiff fabric on webbing.  I think it may help with my paddling technique regarding "leg drive".

They have one or two different types of back support. I heard they restrict how much you can move around (twist) though. Like, they aren't good if you want to spin and get something from in the back.

Do you know if the fish bag takes up the entire space? Or can you fit other gear next to it? It's a no-go if I can't fit more gear.

Where is the prefered spot to mount the fishfinder?

Is that to save money, or are they not needed in your opinion? I am surprised bc you seem to like product reviews, I was hoping for MooMoos Stealth accessory reviews  :smt044

I rarely turn around or sit sideways on my profisha cuz it's a little narrow at 23" but I can rotate if I have to.  I had to move mine about 6" from the front of the hatch because I put a rod mount right in front of me.  You'll have a rod mount well at the front right or left of your hatch on the main body so you won't need to put a rod holder on the hatch.  It's also good to have a little work space right in front of you.  Not sure the size of the fish bag.  I also bring quite a bit along though I'm always thinking less is more.  Little waterproof bags and some hardware if I have to retie.  I store an extra paddle in the hatch.  My bending branches navigator I believe.  Like moo's with the wood blades but it's for a touring stroke.

Bad ass!! I don't own a stealth, but FWIW if you can mount the seas and paddle with such, it deserves something to be said. Kudos to your new prospective craft :dog:

Haha. Never felt the need for any accessories. Comfort is very subjective but my butt is very happy on the stealth without any pad.

I have the fish bag, and in the Elite it is a little tight to have it and other stuff in the hatch. I caught a 39" 26lb ling last year, and couldn't figure out how to get it in the bag, but it was my first time on the ocean (in the Stealth), and the first drop of the day. I punted the bag to Tsuri, and he help me get the ling in the hatch. Also, it is pretty thin and wimpy considering the cost. I am nearby if you would like to come by, see the bag, and how I set my Stealth up.

You may want to have them include the rudder guard. They have a hatch cover that has a raised portion to mount a fish finder you may want to look into.

I recommend getting a back support, probably the band type is best. Without back support of some kind my back gets strained in an hour or two. My seat has a bottom pad as well but I fold it up with the back and find just being that little bit lower makes me feel more connected to the kayak.

Where did you mount your FF? I added the flush mount FF to my order. I want to see a pic or video of the mounting process.
