I can’t wait to get out and put a reasonably sized rockfish on my stringer. 

Unsure about the knife scaling method tho.  I’ll take a swing at this for sure.

Cool technique, I think I'm gonna try this with some trout this winter.  Butterfly it open, put some pesto in the cavity, pop it on the grill. Serve with pasta and sautéed or grilled veggies.
