Curious how effective this technique is for relieving barotrauma in fish -- guy catches a fish that he wants to release and he jams a special needle tool into the side/belly of the fish and the expanded gas inside the fish comes out and he then releases the fish on the surface (instead of using a descender) to assumably resume its fishy life down deep.

Wonder if the fish actually survives this?
