Hi New kayak angler here, just bought a hobie passport 12 and put a lowrance on it. Wondering if there are any other accessories that would be helpful.

Have had a Passport for a bit and the only accessory I use sometimes is a rocket launcher style rod holder one one of the side rails for a place to quickly drop a rod after catching something to free up my hands.

Welcome to NCKA!

I picked up a second hand Passport a few months - loving this kayak so far!  Very stable, fast enough, and a good amount of storage.

I had some questions about setting it up too - see my thread:

I ended up mounting the rocket launchers on the flat spots just forward of the flush mount rod holders, and I am very happy with them.  I can troll from either side, hands free, rod tips visible, and easily in reach to grab when needed. 

I also mounted some gear track on both sides of the seat in the recesses, and I usually put another rod holder forward of my fish finder as another place to put a rod down when dealing with a fish or tackle changes. 

I can get some more recent pictures when I get home from work this evening.
