Hi Guys, coming up next week and was wondering if there's a reliable website that is descent in
their coastal water forecast and indicates Fog. Thank in advance.

Fog is a tough one to forecast. I always carried a compass in addition to GPS. Regardless I wouldn't rely on a fog forecast coming out of any service for my safety. I haven't been out in years but always relied on the MapClick function of the national weather service. There's a ton of apps out there that I looked at but never used. Here's a link to Ocean Cove area.

Fog can come anytime. Last year, I was at Carmel fishing for 50 fathom RF about 1.5 miles from where we launched. At around mid morning a fog bank rolled in, and could not see land.
I had to use my GPS. I always start a track before launching and follow it when heading back in.

There is a "fog" feature on windy.com if you dig a little :smt006

I'd second/third the comment that fog is difficult to predict. I find that if the forecast says fog, there usually is fog, but the density and duration seem to be fairly random, even by weatherperson standards...

Listen to what people are saying here and get yourself a good handheld compass

And don’t just carry it in your pocket Look at it now and then as you go offshore to get a bead on what direction your launch is

You wont regret it
