My only suggestion, if possible, would be for mussels. Love harvesting them. It probably doesn't fall under mercury stats but any info on contaminants would be appreciated if possible. Of course, there is always the hotline offered for when harvesting is suitable.

I left mussels out because almost all of the concerns with bivalves are around biotoxins, not mercury, and the biotoxin situation can change from one day to the next.

The source data doesn't include size/length for the mussel samples, so I wouldn't be able to plot size vs. concentration.

The good news about mussels is that the average mercury concentration is quite low. I'd still harvest the smaller ones to minimize contaminants.

Crappie don’t seem to be size-dependent.

Yeah, for freshwater fish species the body of water matters much more than fish size. As soon as you zoom in on a specific body of water the size-concentration relationship usually reappears.
