So how did you all do over the weekend? I caught 1 Saturday out of moss landing and was on the lovely Martha Sunday where my son and I limited out. Now I have plenty of salmon for Father’s Day sushi and grilling. 10 pounder on Saturday, 1 barely legal and 3 about 13-15 pounders on Sunday. Pictures on lovely Martha’s website, I am the guy in all orange with my son.

18 hours over two days in Pacifica and HMB for zero salmon bites - saw a really active bird pile on Sunday in 100' of water outside the 1 South buoy at HMB but by the time I got there it was over.

Cheers,
Brad

2 bites early Saturday morning at the cove. One stuck! Had to remember how to net an angry fish again but got it in. Could not entice another bite the rest of the weekend, 16 hours of trolling, mooching, even tried to spj in the baitball but the fish were full I guess. Lots of juvenile ling were fun on the salmon rod tho. Not much luck for the kayakers this weekend I was blessed to get mine.

If I want to eat it raw I have to freeze it a week. Already had some as soup and grilled. Sashimi for Father’s Day.

I have eaten tons of salmon straight off the fish while cleaning it.  Never had any issues from it.

I always eat it while cleaning it. Yumm! It doesn't taste the same after freezing.

Pedaled till my legs started to cramp and got nothing.  Still fun though.  Was nice just being out there at Halfmoon bay.
