Uhhh.. don't you mean first week of October?  Wait a minute that was only last week?  Ok I'm all confused now.  Nevermind it's was the first week in Sept you meant!  (I saw the photo name)
Wow, what a difference!  It was darn near a country mile's hike to the water from my tent!   Okay maybe a little over exaggerated, but damn what happened to the water?  Did silicon valley get thirsty all of a sudden?

The Pilipino style BBQ pork that Kiel "ReelKnots" brought was incredible.  I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Chuck, I'm glad you like it. :smt001

Mooch and Scott, thanks for the Info.

Here's some picture I want to share.

Great pictures, Kiel. Too bad Sonny couldn't have stayed longer to enjoy the meat fest. I'm really bummed that I couldn't take any pictures (dropped the camera). I was in such a hurry to ship it back to Pentax that I initially bundled up my CELL PHONE.  :smt005

The "Pinoy Pork" was like meat-candy!
....and the chunksO'pig that Howard created were mouth-watering Hot&tender!
.....not to leave out the GARLIC CLOVE-stuffed Roast that Martin&Co. showed up with(if his friends didn't get out that nite, they wouldn't have to worry about going hungry!)
.....and the Salada de Tomate that Jamie whipped-up!
..... Macaroni Salad was the best i've eaten in a LONG TIME!..who "mastered" that?! I could tell time and love was put into it!

I know I left out a lot, but the wife and I are still recovering from MEAT OVERDOSE!

My wife had a fun time listing to the campfire stories, enjoyed the food and many "characters"

I have to thank Janice and Joel for letting me row their kayaks and get a taste of what it's like. I towed my tube with Janice's yak and fished on Saturday morning with Joel's Prowler 15. Now I see the possibilities.  :smt007

Sure thing Joel. But right now the conditions in Lexington are very similar to those in Del Valle. The lake was drained down very fast in the past month so I expect the fishing to be very slow there as well. But may be that's the practice that you need to know if it's working for you.

I am very flexible with time. Hit me when you have some time and I'll see if I can make it.  :smt002

Compa -

I also am interested in hitting lex and picking up some bass tips. Like Joel, I have extra yaks if you need one. BTW, drove by Lex last week and it is scary how low the water is.

Sure Scott. May be the 3 of us could take a field trip over there in a week or 2. Lexington is down to the low 20 percentile in capacity right now. If it remains at that for a while, we may be able to find some fish. But it will be a long haul to the boat ramp since it is closed. It may be just as easy to launch from the highway side right now!  :smt005

Sounds great. Will be in Boston for a week but 10/27 is open. We could also hit san pablo before the closure. Scott
