Kind of curious what the goal or purpose of the outing was with swells that big and breakers in the harbor mouth

Definitely many days when the harbor entrance must be timed when coming in. No time me for lollygagging. . Get in quick when opportunity arises.

That situation was so avoidable. Patience, timing and knowing where and when you enter the harbor

I went through there in my zodiac on a bigger swell than that but the swell was coming straight at the harbor

My impression is bayliners are a poor man’s yacht and attract a lot of naive people

Really the boating laws here should be more like what they have in Europe - you have to be trained and tested and log a lot of hours before you can have a license to drive anything over 10 hp
