Thieves

Last year after thanksgiving I pulled my Box of Christmas light out of storage and placed it in my yard and not 2 hours later the were gone!   I was so mad because I had hundreds of dollars worth of lights in that box.  I had no choice but to install security cameras around the property for deterrence! But still pissed because I like Christmas light during the cold winter nights!

I stopped by a Davey crew and got the number to talk with the general manager for the area and reported it to them. I have no expectations that anything will come from it. I do believe it was them, since they had the best opportunity to do so, but write it off as lesson learned. Here's a Pic of the Fu-tree.

Very strange and even mean gesture.  Makes me mad and sad for the invasion of your privacy.  Hope that prankster gets justice in a unique way.

I made my own security camera that just does a loop all day for a week before purging prior days.  Only good for during the day, but my night cameras will pick up anything else. This way at least if I do forget to arm before leaving, the other camera will always be on.

This really sucks, I live in a very populated area, in a mobile home park and have had multiple bikes, 100 foot hose, planter pots with plants. My car parked in the driveway has been hit with major damage and even when neighbors were out, no one saw anything. I have put up cameras and the thieves cover their face so imposable to identify. It's gotten to the point that this is normal behavior and considered a way to supplemental income (as far as the thieves see it). It seems even the police really no longer are able to prevent crime but can only follow up with after the fact. What has the world come to, not much you can do, oh well, R.

If you would call me I took them just got a new phone last night so couldnt call you and you werent home, I went to your pad to look for the phone I lost, there were a few creeps walking around your place not me, so I decided to secure them.I left my trade mark on your door id figure you would know it was me... Call me 

Oh, a happy ending?  Lol this is a pretty funny turn of events. 

Glad the story had a happy ending . Reminds me of another similar incident where my brother's three kids all had messy rooms and one of his friends took a toy or two out of each room and waited till Christmas time to return them. Of course they were wrapped and put under the tree. Each of the kids thank him with a puzzled look on their faces
