As the ocean becomes much more calmer this week, I plan to head out for water therapy this Thursday.  The target species will be sanddabs.

It was a slow day and I got only 15 sanddabs.  However, they will be enough for several dinners.

I thought of joining you,Paul. Took a look at the conditions at Chicken Point this morning and decided otherwise. Glad you were able to get out and get back safe, with something to show for your effort.
Another option to consider for sandabs, closer to home, would be outside the Mile buoy straight out of Noyo harbor...ocean permitting.

I tried shallower and deeper but no luck.

The ocean condition was excellent around 3ft swell and not much wind.  Thank you for the new spot information.  Just PM me when you want to go.
