Holy chit!
I spent so much time there as a kid. When I was really young, the family and I would drive out there on weekends to the fish market to see what shark they had on display. It was quite a draw.
When I was older, I caught many a coho and steelhead, fishing just behind the surfline with lures, bobbers with 'chovies, etc. You could see schools of them swimming by. You'd see them jumping clear out of the water too.
I'm reminiscing. Sorry.
