Dude we're getting tsunami warnings in 408, via all the bots and school!!

It's the talk of the town, but everything is good.
I was taking my class of kids for a walk and we didn't feel it. The powerlines were swinging though.

Nice long slow rolls here in McKinleyville.  Exciting but nothing like that New Years one a while back.

I was driving out to the spawning creeks and didn't feel it.  Got a loud tsunami warning on my phone though, even though I was out of service area and had it on silent.  My wife now has PTSD and said it was horrible, and I had 28 messages on my phone when I got back in the service area.

Hoping for no major aftershocks...

A bunch of strong aftershock in the news this morning.   Hope everything will be ok.

Everything good, fared far better than the quake 2 years ago.

Took my hand at Abking style estimation and nailed it.  About 7.0, not too close to land, close offshore cape Mendocino.

The response to the evacuation order was pretty appalling with traffic gridlock and people trying to go gather pets and belongings from inside the tsunami zone.  Doesn’t bode well for in the event of an actual tsunami emergency.
