Nice one, Mark.  Once I learn to use mine, we will hook up for a Stealth trip.

How is the stability on this one?  Also how's the legroom?

Did you get a seat or a backrest?

Sitting in the Stealth without one of these my back was unsupported and it soon became uncomfortable. Despite some running with no backrest I found I needed additional support.
**** a bunch of that.

The seating position is a little lower so it’s supposed to be really stable for a ski. Back and forth legroom is fine, side to side very little. Seems fairly comfortable in a static position on the garage floor. But will find out soon enough.

I didn’t get a seat or back rest yet. I think Ruben has some in stock but not sure if they are made by Stealth.

Was thinking of a local lake for the first time out. Want to practice getting set-up, and getting into the back hatch while on the water, maybe some self rescue. That will be this weekend, and then the next 2 weekends I will be driving to, and from Newport Oregon for the MREP West Coast Fisheries Science & Management Workshop, so maybe some time after that we can fish.

Thats where my concern is as well. I have sciatica and sitting without backrest that would murder my back. But yeah absolutely one of the kayak Im considering.

When I’m out on the water for a long time on the Eddyline I have mild pain just about everywhere. I do not typically suffer from back pain but worry a little about being locked in a single position for a long time. Looks like I’ll make a maiden run Saturday. Looking at either Shadow Cliffs, or HMB.
