Staying in Ventura next weekend and plan to use my conicals to chase lobster both nights on kayak with a buddy.  Anyone have experience in that area?  Ventura Harbor, Oxnard, Point Hueneme, Santa Barbara?  Used to shore dive for them off SB but that was a long time ago!  Any intel appreciated,  PM me if youd prefer.

I’ve heard the Ventura breakwater can be productive, but I have no personal experience there.

Good luck on your trip 👍
