Hi NCKA buddies, I sent one semi drysuit and a pair of booties back to kokatat for repair, they will replace my used drysuit with new one due to something wrong in my drysuit (its really wonderful customer service), but the booties unable to be repaired and also the booties no product anymore, that been said, I need to buy booties from somewhere to match my dry suit.

Anyone can recommend me what brand can i buy which similar as kokatat booties, I found in net, all too short or too tight like wetsuit boots, i do like the booties which kokatat produced, but they stop manufacturing

Thx

Below is the booties which i do like, but discontinued

I don’t understand how Kokatat can not have drysuit booties, as they are an integral part of the suit.

Btw, I had a somewhat similar situation when my Kokatat (semi)drysuit was unrepairable, and Kokatat no longer produced the same suit. They replaced it with a different drysuit that was worth more than what I paid for the unrepairable one. Great customer service!

Yes, really don’t understand why they stop producing this bootie, and their dry suits won’t work if no booties.

I don't understand. They expect you to use booties that are separate from the drysuit? That doesn't make any sense to me...

I use these, but they used to be only 35$: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000V9P73U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1

The drysuit bottoms are so thin, easy to wear them through.  These I got one size larger, they go on easy, and work well for me with my drysuit.

I used to wear a dry suit for work - would just wear rubber boots over the socks of the dry suit.

I wear these exact booties now, with my wetsuit. 7mil. No cold feet, ever!  If it is warm, but not too warm, I wear a 3 mil sock and Crocs.

Could just wear Crocs over the dry suit socks...

I should get a pair of Crocs to try, that would be dual purpose  :smt003. I also wear wool socks in the drysuit, my feet have never been cold.

Crocs are awesome! I have the All-Terrain Crocs, with little fish on them, haha. Real talk though, they are super comfy, and make great wet/dry shoes.

Hi Allen and Paul, looks you all use the shoe which matches to wetsuit, they are tight and short. when you step in some deep water, will the water leak in to the gap between dry suit and the shoe? I plan to buy these shoes which you recommended, just worry the water leak in the gap and remain there.  The original Kokatat booties is long, can almost reach to my knee. So most of the time the water wont reach that high and leak in the gap.

Thanks
Mr.X

The ones I wear do fill up with water when you are standing in it, but they empty as soon as i'm peddling. They aren't filled up all day or anything, I don't even notice it really.
