Hello All,

Set you calendar to September 7th! Sign up at https://www.montereybaykayaks.com/kayak-fishing.html. Just like last year all proceeds will benefit Kayak Fishing For Beginners. Last years proceeds already went to help some awesome kids, a few veterans, and a disabled person get into the sport safely by helping them with safety gear and some fishing equipment.

As we get closer to the event I will post the sponsors. There are more than last year! Also, I added an hr to the event so there is more fish time

Hope to see you all out there

I signed up. Would it be crazy to try to set up a clean n cook area for fish? Maybe it's too much with everything else going on. Not that I don't love a good hot dog though.

If a seagull poops on you, statistically it was no accident.

I can set p a clean and cook station only for those going to cook. It will just turn into a mess if everyone cleans there fish as we arent set up for that mess

I can attest to this as I volunteered to keep organized and dispose of "fish trimmings" for the previous Catch & Cook event.   It was difficult to keep trash, recycling or anything other than fish waste from getting in the bin.
It isn't fun being the trash police.   :smt018
Then I had to responsibly dispose of it which I did.  Took it up to the ranch and buried it under the persimmon tree with the excavator.

Adam- I'm happy to volunteer again for your event how ever I can help, I haven't checked my schedule yet tho so don't write me in just yet

Adam, thanks for putting this together. It’s on my calendar. Not sure if I’ll be fishing or just chilling.
I look forward to seeing everyone.

That was the best ever lineup of giant fish to win a tournament.  Lets see another set of huge fish this year  :smt003

Local OGs usually offer to go reserve sites (in person only) for folks the morning of their arrival.  That'll probably happen in this thread.
