We've all driven past this site on our way south, now here's a close-up look.
I'm not sure if it's called Devil's Bunker, but it seems fitting.

May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

Only the bunker in the 2nd part of the video is visible from the road. The other one is only viewable by parking and hiking out on the old Highway 1.
And yeah, I had no idea all that stuff was up there either. Would be cool to explore, although very dangerous.

Not exactly relevant (my speciality), but it reminds me of a place that everybody in the Bay Area sees from far away, but few have ever seen close up...

They greatly improved the road and parking at Mt. Umanumummn.  I drove up there last year when it was snowing, it was kind of scary at the top even with 4wheel drive though.  I also have driven from 152 all the way across that ridge of summit rd, all the way to where it meets highway 9 several times.
