John, are you using those bright red (or orange) fish grippers I've been seeing more often in pictures taken? Never seen those before. Usually see the Berkeley grippers and (more rarely) the more expensive Bogen grippers.

yeah, I use those. $10 from cabelas.

Just got my replacement net from Promar. Looks like they modified the new nets and put a rubber tubing straight across the top - looks good. Hope to test out this net on a heavy fish sometime soon

Yes it is. I kept the green netting of the original one just as a spare.

  Oh, wonderful. Mine arrived just last week, and it's the green version.

It's 26" deep.  The black nets don't seem as deep as the green ones.  Length=33". Width=26".

alright!...thanks for telling me about this brudah!....does mine have to break into 2pcs. before i can get it replaced?   mine is being reinforced w/hose clamps, after picking my butt' - up(ha,ha!)in the exact spot. It bent and damn near broke too!   can one "brudah" help anuda' brudah?    BRUDAH?

Hey brudah!  don't really need it for the sturgeon I'm gonna get(had to $$ for a snare), but if you can help a fellow brudah get one of them upgraded ones?  i'll be forever in your favor!  gonna need it for the ocean next year and wanted to get a jump on it.   HELP ME MR. WIZARD!!
