you should still consider it. they are nice and slick and packable. I have only had mine out
a couple times, but I'm glad I have it. I mainly use the fish grippers and gaf.


John, are you using those bright red (or orange) fish grippers I've been seeing more often in pictures taken? Never seen those before. Usually see the Berkeley grippers and (more rarely) the more expensive Bogen grippers.

Just got my replacement net from Promar. Looks like they modified the new nets and put a rubber tubing straight across the top - looks good. Hope to test out this net on a heavy fish sometime soon  :smt002

Yes it is. I kept the green netting of the original one just as a spare.

Hey mooch or Chuck what is the depth of the big net? I can't find measurements except length and width.

It's 26" deep.  The black nets don't seem as deep as the green ones.  Length=33". Width=26".

alright!...thanks for telling me about this brudah!....does mine have to break into 2pcs. before i can get it replaced?   mine is being reinforced w/hose clamps, after picking my butt' - up(ha,ha!)in the exact spot. It bent and damn near broke too!   can one "brudah" help anuda' brudah?  :smt010  BRUDAH?  :smt006
