I prefer to have both reel handles facing me if I can. If I’m doubled up, I can play the other rod one-handed. Helps convert a few double ups. A double up can easily turn a slow day into a limit in no time.

I'd really like just a handful of your bead collection to go with this knowledge please

I have that same setup now, I like both reels facing me forsure. I even had a lefty and a righty when we went dab and hali fishing too just to give one arm a break lol.

Best thing I learned from this thread is that it's OK to be a Kokane gear hoarder    I'm gonna get a right handed Abu DLC for next season

You should see my trout boxes....  it’s arguably more impressive/concerning, especially if you’re from the POV of my SO....

I don't know that I want to refer to myself as a gear horder but know I can't go into a tackle shop especially a fly shop and not at least come out with some sort of material. I know I came by it honestly from my mother and her sewing supplies. It's only going to get worse with kayak fishing
