A little bit of good news, according to the article linked below there is no loner a fee to park at Miller boat launch and other Marin county parks. No more worrying if the parking machine is going to like your credit card.

Each year I get a senior pass for Marin Parks but this year they refunded the money with my application. Later I called and had it confirmed over the phone that they dropped the fee. To me, this is not a great idea. Five bucks was minimal and helped maintain the place. Secondly, you can expect a lot more non fishing people to come in and park and have a picnic and take a hike. Parking slots will be harder to come by.

I agree.  I hope the rangers maintain the community.  When something is free it tends to get taken for granted.

“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”

Free parking at Paradise as well.

Hope this doesn’t eliminate any of the Rangers with the revenue cut.

I felt the same way. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I feel like too many people don't appreciate what they don't pay for.

Hard to think $5 for day use is some kind of unfair price that keeps folks away.
