These should not be occurring anymore.  It seems it got fixed with the recent DNS fixes.  Is anyone still seeing the annoying popups?

Or use the Brave browser. Yes, it's a stupid name for a browser, but it's very effective at blocking ads. It also has its own search engine which doesn't track you (not quite as good as Google, but sufficient for at least 90% of the browsing that I do).
