Nice Eddie! I'd do a trip to Red Rock, with the right tides, haha. I was actually thinking from Point Molate that wouldn't be too far of a trip, couple miles each way maybe.  I've heard the striper fishing can get pretty exciting over there... On my Bay Area bucket list for sure.
I'll eat a striper...ikijime style...hope you whip in SB... :smt006
“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”

you had me for a second!

but the stroke, the glide, that is probably what I miss most about paddle kayaks.  On quiet breezeless mornings I'd see if I could glide along without any sound at all...total meditation

Santa Barbara is a bust - I got the 'ole bait n switch. Boss said Santa Barbara, and meant San Bernardino, haha.  Will only be there a couple days, then back up. Will see what the weather looks like next weekend, or maybe a weekday adventure the first week of March?

Stripers should be moving back down river any time now...
