I'm probably the odd man out, but really hate to see Carr go, he wasn't a great quarterback, (few are), but he was good and consistent...and no where near the biggest issue on the team.  Darn Raiders just keep shooting themselves in the foot.  My season ticket days are well behind me.

The Whiners did Jimmie G dirty...and the RAIDERS did Carr dirty, can't respect either team.

Carr is the last of their worries. Sure he has 14 interceptions but 3/4 of those were tipped balls by the receivers and not his fault. They have only lost one game this year by more than 7 points. That shows me that they are right at the edge of being a really good team. There problem lies with their secondary and has been for years! You cant expect to win if your defense is giving up 21 or more point a game. They have lost in the last few minutes of the game almost every time. STOP GOING INTO F-ing PREVENT DEFENCE. IT NEVER WORKS!

Sadly, I think they're in for a number of years of bad football.  you can work around a good quarterback, and keep the games intersting, but bad QB's....yikes.
Let me list out a few names between Gannon and Carr
Rick Mirer, Tuiasosopo, Collins, Andrew Walter, Aaron Brooks, Josh MCCown, Daunte Culpepper (past prime), ...oh yah...the best of all, Mr. Purple Drank himself....JaMarcus Russell!, Andrew Walter (again), Bruce Gradkowski, Chralie Frye, Jason Campbell, Carson Palmer, Kyle Boller, Terrelle Pryor, Matt McGloin,
it was a painful Decade ++ between Gannon and Carr.

the Niners are in much better shape, other than dropping Jimmy G...they've made good decisions, and Brock Purdy seems like another 'good' quarterback, which is all you need in Shanahan scheme.

When Al was still alive, in the Gannon years, and asked who would take over the team when he died, he said ...no one in the family is interested in football, I'll just leave it to Amy Trask...that would have been such a better decision than his son.

Ya missed Charlie Batch. Funny you mentioned Palmer. He was the ring barer at my youngest sisters wedding!
Totally agree, Amy did great things for the team and would have done much better than Davis is doing now.
