Moat Creek;
 After getting to the parking area, 13 miles north of Gualala off State 1, leave your car and locate the trail head. Moat Creek Trail is a short (1/4-mile) hike to a pocket beach. Catch great views from the top of the trail up the bluff.

Unfortunately this place has been hammered the last few years by the same crew that raped Storanetta.  There was a mile long (no exaggeration) chain of cars on the shoulder there at the last big negative tide.  There is a small parking lot and access for normal days.

There is supposed to be a south swell hitting this weekend which means ridable waves and surfers at moat creek. Should still be doable, but after reading Sean's post I wouldn't drive that far this late in the season. But if you do, be prepared to carry your kayak at the end of the trail about 50-100 ft over rocks and logs. Launching, even if the surf is breaking, should be doable during a lull.                 Jim/redyak

The trail really isn't wide enough for Roleez either. Becky and I were there at the end of June watching a few surfers while we enjoyed a few brews. The parking lot is pretty small.
I think it might be easier to use a dive float depending on how far you want to go.

Thanks guys! :smt006
but the place doesn't sounds good, isn't it!?
My all abalone this year is from 84 & when I took my friends there, they told me 52 is better, so I would like to try there.
I wanna get some nice ones but I can't swim (can dive only about 15')...
Any suggestions?

Let me translate for Naoaki...

He's referring to the site numbers on the Ab card.  "84" is actually Pedotti reef/Reef campground and "52" is Moat Creek.

As for not being able to swim, I don't buy it. How can you dive to 15 ft without being able to swim.
