Earthquake in SJ?

Felt a good rumble up here in the mountains, see that a 5.1 in SJ just happened.  Hope everything is OK!

Was on the front yard thought the ground was gonna open and swallow me.

it was a good one.  i live across street from a school.  the kids kept on playing as if no factor.  only minutes later did the school ring an alarm bell. 

Felt it real good in Aptos

I happened to be in my office at SJSU (downtown SJ) and got a bit shook up, being in a rickety old building. It wasn't enough to knock things over, but definitely felt some wave action rolling through...

The current info is that it was magnitude 5.1 and located 15 km ESE of Alum Rock, which looks like that's near Mt Hamilton (about 11-12 miles from downtown SJ). It was pretty shallow, at 8.4 km.

A guy I know in Germany sent me an email asking if I was OK...

It rattled my front door, and seemed to last longer than the previous few we've felt.
