Can someone point me towards the admin? I’m using the Tapatalk app and the plug-in needs to be updated so I can see what you all are posting!

I've often thought of hitting up the admins to see if they'd consider migrating the board to something line Xenforo but I know that's a big undertaking and I doubt there's much appetite for it.

I ran an SMF forum for many years (and used Tapatalk) but eventually it got so painful to maintain I bit the bullet and migrated us completely to Xenforo and it's been a revelation. Very nice UI from either desktop or mobile browsers, no need for a separate app/client. Also all the nice little things like reaction emojis (likes), easy copy and paste of images directly into messages, and too many other features to list.

Our WM does this voluntarily, it’s love, not money. Not sure about a change, it’s his call.  Thank you, AS!

IME, this board works fine in browsers, sure, we’ve had some bumps, but what hasn’t? TT was continually glitchy for me, and I didn’t care for it much.

I've tried tapatalk a few times, and gave up on it, now I just use the PC to access.  Though I did not pay for a tapatalk subscription - maybe that is better?

For sure, for sure. I hope nothing in my post came across as critical. After running a messageboard for almost 20 years, I know as well as any that it can be a really thankless task and a real labor of love. I don't even know who runs the board, but I am beyond thankful for their work and the community that has been built around it.

My comments about Xenforo are really just based on my own experience of having gone through that pain of migration (and whether or not it was worth it afterward). Even though my own board only had 200 users, due to posting volume and the long history, it was still a decent size database to migrate (well over a million posts). I think there's also services you could pay that would handle most of the migration for you.

Tapatalk was terrible when I first tried it, so if it's still terrible no way i'm trying it again.
